2018 VALDEZ ICE CLIMBING FESTIVAL

Welcome reception & Mountainfilm, Valdez Civic Center, on the hill overlooking the harbor at 110 Clifton Court. Non-climbers rate: $10 at the door. Festival registration, single night film ticket sales, and beer garden opens at 6:30 p.m.; Films start at 7:30 p.m.

REGISTRATION

General Admission Tickets. Your ice fest All Access Pass includes daily open climbing from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Also includes entry to all evening social events: Mountainfilm, Saturday dance party, the Sunday night banquet, entertainment and Silent Auction. 

This year's clinics will be lead by the most impressive roster of climbers to ever come together in Valdez.

Ice Fest Passholders will be issued free gear demo cards that can be used to checkout the latest gear from CAMP-USA, Black Diamond and PetzlIce Fest participants should still plan to bring their own gear (Boots, Crampons, Helmet and Harness) but now you'll have a chance to try the latest in ice climbing gear technology too - included as part of festival registration.

Alaska Mountaineering & Hiking rental gear

Alaska Mountaineering and Hiking is offering a weekend package rental deal. If you already have your own helmet, you can rent gear at a reduced rate. You can call and reserve gear. This is an amazing deal offered exclusively to Valdez Ice Fest participants! Act fast, last year AMH ran out of gear quickly and demo gear will be available first come, first served.
