Try Cool, New Gear!

Ice Fest Passholders will be issued free gear demo cards that can be used to checkout the latest gear from CAMP-USA, Black Diamond and Petzl. Ice Fest participants should still plan to bring their own gear (Boots, Crampons, Helmet and Harness) but now you'll have a chance to try the latest in ice climbing gear technology too - included as part of festival registration.

Alaska Mountaineering & Hiking rental gear

Alaska Mountaineering and Hiking usually offers a weekend package rental deal. If you already have your own helmet, you can rent gear at a reduced rate. You can call and reserve gear. This is an amazing deal offered exclusively to Valdez Ice Fest participants! Act fast, last year AMH ran out of gear quickly and demo gear will be available first come, first served.
